Being a society so connected to signs as physical indicators of directions we should go, is it no wonder why we struggle with the notion of spiritual signs and accepting them with equal ease? We tend to demand physical signs of the non-physical. First and foremost, I believe to 'see' signs of the spiritual, we must first STOP, be still...it is difficult to catch a butterfly. However, if we sit still long enough, one may land directly on us...when was the last time you just...were.

So, mr. goo and I live on a pond... we've been debating whether or not we should buy a ton of flamingos to stick out there and see if it screws up the ducks and muskrats and other random wildlife... I'm pretty sure hilarity would ensue.

Hmmm...2-3 weeks? Have you seen the Grand Canyon before? Or the Corn Palace in Iowa?? Is that the corn state?? I firmly believe that everyone should see these two things before they die...ok, it's not Greek ruins...I believe you may also be able to track down the world's biggest ball of yarn out there somewhere. I have always wanted the job of one of the morning news show guys that would have someone throw a dart at a map, go there, open a telephone book, blindly pick and name and interview that person. Everyone has a story. Good luck!

Wait!!! I'm confused! Did I miss something? One minute you are meeting and stranger and the next you are on a PRIVATE JET to Virgina with him?? I understand YOUR passion and desire to pursue...but what is "Tom" seeking that he would go to this expense (ok, maybe OUR expense) and time to travel with a complete stranger...something isn't adding up...Does Tom know something you don't? Or am I just reading too much into this??
